Maples hosting Coffee Morning

On 29th September 2017 Maples Solicitors LLP will be hosting a coffee morning as part of Macmillan’s “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning”.

Tea, coffee and cakes will be served from 10:00am until 1:00pm and all donations received will go to Macmillan Cancer Support to assist them with providing medical, emotional, practical and financial support to those facing cancer and their families.

At the same time, Maples will also be running a free Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate clinic so that whilst you are in the office you may take the opportunity to discuss any of these with one of the Private Client Team with no obligation to commit. You can use the time to raise any questions you may have about making a Will, who you could appoint as Executors, whether you need a Power of Attorney or how a Power of Attorney works, for example.

Maples hope to see their existing clients join them for the coffee morning and very much look forward to meeting new people- everyone is welcome!

Farewell to Gemma Mayer

After many years of dedicated service, Gemma Mayer has now left Maples Solicitors LLP.

Gemma joined the firm in 2007 as a Trainee Solicitor, having achieved a First Class Law degree at Liverpool John Moores University and a commendation in her Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School. She qualified as a solicitor in November 2009 and, following her hard work and commitment, became a Partner on 1 January 2015.

During her time at Maples, Gemma built up extensive experience in commercial law and commercial property, advising businesses on a wide range of matters. She also played an important role in the firm, heading up our Doncaster office while maintaining strong connections with our Spalding office and clients.

Over the years, Gemma has made a significant contribution to the firm and has been a valued colleague to many. We are grateful for her dedication, professionalism and the commitment she has shown throughout her time with us.

We would like to thank Gemma for everything she has contributed to Maples Solicitors LLP and wish her every success and happiness in the next chapter of her career, as well as all the very best to her and her family for the future.
